These are official Boy Scouts of America wheels FROM THE KIT!  BSA wheels have imperfections in them. This is due to fluctuations in the plastic injection molding process as well as the advanced age of the wheel molds themselves. As a result, the wheels are not perfectly round as intended, there are high and low spots along the wheel tread. This can make the car hop slightly as it goes down the track, creating instability and decreasing its speed. We have corrected these manufacturing imperfections resulting in a wheel that is much rounder and therefore much faster!
