Turbo Fenders - Universal are designed to work with practically any car. They are especially useful for builds with straight or non-canted axles and four wheels touching the track. They can also be installed on rail-riding cars.
Two Lightweight Pinewood Derby Car Fenders Options

- Plug-n-Play: The complete set weighs less than 9 grams, or .31 ounces. Remove the pieces from the package, position them around the wheels, and glue them to the car. It’s that easy!
- HyperLite: The complete set weighs less than 4.5 grams, or .15 ounces. These fenders weigh less than half as much as the Plug-n-Play version, leaving more of the car’s weight allowance available for placement elsewhere. HyperLite fenders require a small amount of sanding before installation.

Installing Your Pinewood Derby Fenders
Each piece is labeled for its position on the car. The leading fenders can be used on the front or rear wheel on their labeled side. The trailing pieces are side-specific and should be installed according to their right or left markings.
Position each fender as close to the wheel as practical without allowing the two parts to touch. A little extra space is better than a tight fit that causes rubbing. A rubber band placed around the wheel can help create a consistent gap during installation.
Apply a small amount of glue to the middle bar of the fender, then press the piece against the car body while keeping it centered and flat. Tack each piece in place first. Once you have confirmed that nothing rubs, add more glue along the seams where the fenders meet the body.
After installation, roll the car on a flat surface. Check that the fenders do not contact the wheels, floor, or track. HyperLite fenders may benefit from light sanding with 120, 220, or finer grit, especially inside the wheel wells. Plug-n-Play fenders do not require additional sanding.
